Welcome to the 10th Carnival of Pen, Pencil and Paper, founded by Nifty of Notebook Stories. The Carnival highlights posts of interest, amusement, and information through submissions as well as nominations by readers and the editor.
I'm really excited about this Carnival, there are a ton of awesome posts here. There are three great posts that touch on pens and the written word and history from: Eric, Palimpsest and Inkophile. There are also two amazing videos for your enjoyment from Rodney and Leigh. Plus a wonderful group of other great blog posts, so please check out all the posts and the wonderful blogs and their writers. I want to thank everyone who participated and all those reading this.
The Editor presents Vintage Waterman’s Ideal Fountain Pen posted at sircram. I chose this post for two reasons: 1) Eric is an example of the new generation of young people choosing not to forego the hand written word, and 2) the story shares the legacy of a pen that can be passed from generation to generation.
