See the thing is, I really do not have a regular post ready this week. "Whatever" is now 338 posts and almost 3 years old and I don't think that I have ever missed a week. So, rather that miss a week here is my feeble offering.
Don't miss the April Carnival of Pen, Pencil and Paper which just opened yesterday over at Economy Pens. The carnivals are always fun and a good source of information.
I have not been totally idle, in the few minutes each day that I'm not working. I am participating in the First Annual Rhodia Journal Swap, that is also taking up some of my time. Please visit the Swap Site over at Tumblr - Rhodia Journal Swap.
I took two online art classes (I've not yet worked through the second class). Both of these were with the wonderful artist, Dion Dior. The first is Mastering Twinkling H2Os and the second is Watercolor Pencil Workshop. Although both of these are complete, Joggles will be offering them again. In the meantime, you can see offerings from the students on Flickr - Mastering Twinks and Watercolor Pencil. In fact, right now Dion is giveaway two spots in her Mastering Twinks class being offered over at LuminArte, so get over there and enter to win. And if you don't win, sign up anyway, you won't regret it.
The 2012 21 Secrets Workshop opened April 1 and there is still plenty of time to join and learn from 21 wonderful art instructors including Connie Hozvicka, Diane Trout, Jane Davenport and Traci Bunkers, among the esteemed group.
If you are a reader and have a long commute you really need to check out Podiobooks. They have a wonderful selection of free - yes, you read that correctly - FREE - audiobooks. I have been downloading books from their website (and donating) for a little over a year and have discovered some wonderful stories and authors. Since my commute is 45 minutes each way, I find this a wonderful way to spend the time. Thanks to them I have discovered additional offerings from iTunes and the blogs of the authors. All free. Take some time and explore.
In addition to the books that are available, there are wonderful pen and ink podcasts now available. Be sure to subscribe to FPGeeks weekly podcast or better yet take part in the live broadcast which is schedule for each Sunday evening. The Pen Addict has a wonderful podcast where he (Brad) and Myke discuss everything pen, paper and ink. Lastly, Tyler Dahl, the new kid on the block and I do mean kid (he just turned 18). Tyler has a wonderful podcast where he discusses his Weekend Reads.

Hopefully, I will find some time to compose a regular post for next week. In the meantime, please be kind to your tax preparer, they are overworked at this time of the year and remember... don't kill the messenger.
